The Crater Rim Senaru trekking program is designed for those with limited time, offering stunning views of Lake Segara Anak nestled within the volcanic crater. This trek is suitable for children aged 7 years and older. The tour is available on any day, barring weather conditions that may restrict departure.
Typically, visitors reach Pemenang port by way of Bali or the Gili Islands, while some may choose to arrive through Lombok airport. Regardless of your entry point, we provide transportation to our homestay in Senaru as part of our package. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed at our homestay, where a delightful dinner awaits you. Enjoy breathtaking views from our outdoor dining area and observe playful monkeys just below. Additionally, you have the option to take a leisurely 20-minute stroll to Tiu Kelep waterfall, conveniently accessible from the trail located right in front of our homestay.
You will wake up early to enjoy breakfast, then after that the journey will start by driving for about 10 minutes to the national park entrance. We will start this trekking activity from the Senaru entrance at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level.
The total walking on the first day from the entrance to the campsite is around 7-8 hours, with a distance of 7,9 km and an elevation gain of 1,941 meters (700 to 2641 masl)
